In crafting Cairdeas, we selected the finest malt from our floor maltings, which uses a cold smoke process to impart unique peaty flavours into the malted barley. We then distilled using only small pot stills – the same type that would have been used over a century ago. Finally, we matured the liquid in our oldest warehouse right next to the sea (Warehouse No.1)
Non-chill filtered, the result is a unique expression to be savoured by Friends of Laphroaig, old and new.
