This island single malt scotch whisky is part of ‘The Ledaig Collection’, a fine selection of fresh single malts full of life and charisma from the only distillery on the Isle of Mull. The name is pronounced ‘Led-chig’ and translates to ‘Safe Haven’ from the Gaelic tongue. Aptly named after the area on which the distillery sits, neatly sheltered in Tobermory Bay.
This intriguing liquid has s single nose with distinct peatiness and a prevalence of fresh sea air, one taste leaves you in no doubt of its unique Hebridean Island heritage, with evidence of Tobermory seaweed and dry smoke. A subtle milk chocolate flavouring leaves a lasting impression on the palate. The long and pleasant finish has a satisfying ginger sweetness with a mellow soft warmth.
Notes: A wonderfully peated island single malt from the enchanting Tobermory Distillery on the unspoilt Isle of Mull.
