Aberlour 16 yr old - Double CaskThe Aberlour single malt has been matured in two handmade oak casks types. Traditional oak and the finest of Sherry oak casks. The double maturation ensures a smooth and full taste in addition to the distinctive sweet floral and spicy flavour of Aberlour.

Nestling in the heart of Speyside is the village of Aberlour where a source of exceptionally pure spring water known as St. Drostan’s Well inspired James Fleming to build his distillery in 1897.

The richness of the natural environment combined with the soft and pure water creates Aberlour single malt, a distinctive whisky of generous character.

Colour: Rich golden amber

Noses: Rich, dry scented floral and sweet raisens aromas with spicy nuttiness.

Palate: Smooth, full, sweet floral and spicy flavours with a soft plum fruitiness and gentle oakiness.

Finish: Long, warm spicy fruitiness
